Sabaidee English app for iPhone and iPad

The Sabaidee English App was commissioned by the Luxembourg Development Cooperation Agency on behalf of Project LAO/029 - Skills for Tourism to be used as a teaching/learning resource for students of tourism and hospitality in Lao PDR.
An English language learning tool for Lao tourism and hospitality students and teachers; those working in the hospitality and tourism industry in Lao; and any Lao speaker interested in building their English language skills. Developed around vocabulary and phrases commonly used in the tourism and hospitality industry, the app is designed to build your vocabulary and improve your communication skills at your own pace. The app works offline making it useful in any location.
Features of the app include:
Lessons: Learn the basics of English grammar through multiple, interactive activities split in to 40 lessons over 8 units. The lessons cover the foundations of English grammar whilst introducing users to key vocabulary from the tourism and hospitality sector. Activities include ‘matching pairs’, ‘matching vocabulary to pictures’, ‘translate this sentence’, ‘listen and repeat’, ‘listen and make the sentence’.
Unit Tests: Check the knowledge you’ve learned through interactive tests. Pass the unit test to unlock the next level.
Resources: Learn specific vocabulary and phrases that are commonly used in tourism and hospitality sector: in hotels, restaurants and bars by listening to the pronunciations of a native English speaker.
Record your own Phrases: Add to the resources by adding your own voice recordings.
Customise your Resources: Select your most useful vocabulary and phrases and have them kept in your favourites library so you can return to them as and when needed.
Flash Cards: Test your memory with a series of flashcards that accompany the resources. Choose to study Laos to English, or English to Laos.
